These photographs of rock musicians were taken during my time as artist in residence at Newcastle Opera House,primarily to use as information for drawings and paintings. I had permission from all of the performers to photograph them. In a number of cases I was allowed on stage with the bands. All of the pictures were taken during live concerts using what available light there was on stage.
