The original drawing of the nude was quite three dimensional. In order to flatten the composition I again went in close. This made the drawing more abstract. In the floral drawing the shapes were quite complex and quite difficult to draw. The nude drawing is made up of larger shapes and was fairly simple to draw. The difficulty was to make the shapes interesting by subtle rendering within the shapes.
