This drawing is a scraperboard(scratchboard) drawing of Allenheads Village in snow. The snow drifts in front of the Allenheads Inn were moved by the snow plough. It was only when the plough hit the drifts that the driver realised that they weren't drifts but cars covered in deep snow. This picture was featured on BBC News broadcast in 1987
